I have an XXXX credit card and the bank operating the card changed. I had automatic payments set up and did not receive any notice that they would be terminated, possibly due to the fact that I moved during the time that the banks were transferred. Because my automatic payment didn't post, my payment was late and the credit card company reported to credit agencies. When I realized it was late, I immediately paid in full and sent a letter to the bank explaining the situation. The bank responded initially by saying they would remove the negative credit remark, but they have not done so and my credit is still impacted.
