RE : Capitalone bank N.A. case no. # XXXX This is to inform you that Capitalone bank has removed the double charge by XXXX on my credit card. Thanks to CFPB. However, they still have not credited my account over {$800.00} that I have already made on the account balance of {$1600.00} to pay down the debt. I contacted Capital one bank and they said my $ XXXX payments will be credited to my account when the case is closed. Unfortunately however, Capital one bank have sent me a wrong billing statement due XX/XX/22 based on {$1600.00} instead of about $ XXXX balance that I am actually owing. ( statements enclosed ). I am appealing to CFPB to mandate capital one bank to credit my account the monies I have already paid on my credit card & stop charging me high interest rate based on wrong account balance.
