I had originally Disputed the debt with TDXXXX back in XXXX stating that the account was not mine and was opened due to identity theft in which I believe my ex wife was involved. I filed a police report and sent to TDXXXX along with XXXX, XXXX, XXXX. Each bureau removed this item from my credit profile due to identity theft. Upon talking with TDXXXX a representitive stated they would never let this debt go as they had my signature. After having to prove it was identity theft TDXXXX still continues to report the invalid debt descimating my credit score every few years. Hindering my chances at home ownership/vehicle purchases.
