This is a complaint against timeshare company XXXX. I spoke with their employees, who introduced themselves other than a salesperson. They started their lies by saying we are making a good financial investment and even promised re-sale value would go up. Moreover, they told us that we would actually make money from this timeshare. They offered us gifts such as discounts in parks, savings on our vacations and bonuses if we sent people with promotional codes, and other enticing things which involves earning money on the promotions platform. They made us believe that things would be positively different but each time things got worse to the point that this even created a serious hardship for us. We felt pressured when we were told they needed some sort of approval in order to grant us the deal and that it was our last chance at the lowest price being offered. They never gave us copy of any application nor did they made us aware of all the fees involved. Everything felt rushed as they have never given us enough time to read through the contract. They never gave us a copy of the contract either. We were not properly informed how cancellation process works, we didn't even know how many days to cancel. We tried requesting to cancel after a month but they told us that we could not cancel anymore, that's the only time they informed us that we only have a few days to cancel after the day we spoke with them. We experienced financial problems, husband lost his job and with too much timeshare debt due to credit card payments. We had relationship stress due to this issus because it has damaged our financial credit to acquire loans for our house. It caused us lots of stress to the point that we even lose sleep because the financial situation is not good and we have to pay for this timeshare that we can't even use. The whole process was clearly rushed because it was very fast, like they did everything for us, without giving us enough time to think or read the contract. According to them, we were going to save too much with the timeshare and they did not explain that we could cancel nor did they explain the annual maintenance for life. This has just been very stressful for us, and we were simply defrauded. This is clearly unlawful deceptive sales tactics and misrepresentation, omission of facts, withholding information, exaggerations of timeshare use of product anytime etc.
