I was a victim of identity theft around XXXX XXXX XXXX I have been having issues with my credit for years. Moreover, most issues are resolved however some not. I have contacted the Credit Bureaus to ask them to investigate these collections/debts it is no knowledge, not mine. I dont hear anything from them but see its updated on file, I respond again because I not only see its from a residence Ive never resided, I see its an open account, which is impossible because I currently have same provider and have had same provider for at least a decade. I write the credit bureaus asking them to validate, again no validation or proof bearing legality. I have not been contacted by phone, by mail, by anything. My information has been the same for at least a decade. I even had a few credit cards, now paid off they have listed as charged off, which is inaccurate. I called these companies and they all say I should be contacting the credit bureaus. Its more confusing because all 3 major credit bureaus have conflicting information. I send them a photo copy of my valid current ID, a utility bill and my phone number asking them to PLEASE remove all the other listed wrong names and/or addresses on my profile, which were never mine, they never did that! I tried to contact the debt collector myself theyre so rude, they want all my personal information but if they rightfully have this or this was valid they would have that. Please help. I dont know what else to do! I dont know much about the FCRA laws, but since my identity was stolen and working to get it back on track, I know this is wrong. I know the way some of these collections agencies are wrong. Validate the debt. Credit bureaus do your due diligence if its not validated, remove it from profiles. Thank you.
