In XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, someone hit my credit report with 4 hard inquiries and was able to get approved for a credit card with a {$10000.00} limit with Discover Bank. I tried to resolve the issue with Discover. I was under the impression that we were going to close the account/card completely but they were under the impression that we were disputing a charge. After further investigation, I found that the account is still on my credit report ( its reported closed cause the individual never made a payment ). I reached back out to Discover and they are currently doing an investigation on the account.
