On XX/XX/2022, The account was paid in full for {$770.00} to the collection agency National Credit XXXX ( NCA ). However, NCA continues to report the status of the account as collection/chargeoff. I contacted NCA to dispute my account was not a collection/chargeoff, and I paid the amount in full and requested it is removed from collection status as a chargeoff. NCA informed me it was their policy not to remove the account from collections/chargeoff status even when paid in full. I disputed the credit report with all three credit reporting agencies, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, to no avail. All they did was send a request to NCA to update the report regarding my account.
