I am a co-signor on a bill consolidation loan for my daughter from Freedom Financial. She has been having financial difficulties since her mother passed away from XXXX and became depressed and got behind in her bills, so in her despair she asked me co-sign a bill consolidation loan {$7800.00}. Freedom plus loan number XXXX. They sent me a letter stating that the account was 50 days past due and threatened reporting it to my credit bureau, which they did and my credit score went down XXXX points. Now I received a second threat because I haven't paid her past due balance.. I am on a fixed income and can barely pay my own bills and they showed no empathy for my or my daughter 's situation. Very callous in my opinion!
