I previously filed several complaints with CFPB for other issues with XXXX, for example a checking account, they mishandled my paycheck on more than one occasion, ie holding funds that had been verified, therefore causing a number of subsequent issues ( bill payments bouncing, not having availability to my funds at the date it was said to be available, charging fees, etc. ). When my funds finally became available I immediately moved it to a new bank and XXXX attempted to reacquire to be spiteful and without my consent. I blocked them ... My new bank alerted me, honored the rules, but I had to go to my new bank to fill out a form stating XXXX attempt was not approved and they could not withdrawal from my account without my written consent, ever. Since that time XXXX continues to retaliate against and attempt to bully me for the complaints I have filed with CFPB, by closing my credit card ( XX/XX/2020 ) for no valid reason ( gave me several different reasons over several unnecessary phone calls and messages ), causing " glitches, '' therefore making extra work for me to do, compounding interest and reporting incorrectly to all three credit bureaus. Since closure, I have paid this card as agreed, on time and in full ( {$2700.00} XXXX XXXX ), however XXXX is continuing to report as active account, charging fees they are not entitled to, compounding interest ( interest charged is the same amount now as it was when the account was open ) and reporting the limit too high ( {$2500.00} is what I agreed to and had ). To my understanding this violates several laws ... Fair Credit Reporting, attempt at theft, etc. I held on reporting this until now for four main reasons 1. I did not catch how they were reporting until 4 months ago 2. I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt they will act accordingly, they wont obviously 3. I paid/closed my auto loan account and wanted to make sure they could not retaliate further for this one and mess something up. 4. I am tired/lost patience a long time ago for the games they play They made this personal. It is pathetic and a waste of my valuable time to keep contacting CFPB to reprimand XXXX. XXXX has to follow the rules they are bound to, remember it is not their money we allow them to handle and just because they have a lot of money/power they can not just do whatever they want. I am not the only person I know of them doing this to. XXXX need to be XXXX just as XXXX XXXX was recently : ) Thank you for your time.
