I have submitted several disputes regarding this issue!! I received a letter from Equifax dated XX/XX/2022 stating that they have verified this alleged XXXX with XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Meanwhile I received a letter from XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022 stating that this XXXX XXXX has been removed due to incorrect information. I also received a letter from the XXXX XXXX XXXX stating that they do not verify any information with credit bureau 's. I submitted a complaint via CFPB and EQUIFAX AGAIN!!!!! stated that they have VERIFED this account!! WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!! Equifax is now in violation of several consumer laws! I did not receive a fair investigation and they are failing to follow proper dispute procedures according to FCRA guidelines. They are not furnishing and reporting inaccurate information and according to 15 USC 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) it states that A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. I have the right to an accurate credit report. I also have the right to seek damages for violations according to FCRA. If this is not removed, I will be seeing legal counsel for Willful violations. I have attached correspondence from Equifax, XXXX XXXX and The XXXX XXXX XXXX.
