I recently received correspondence from CFPB informing me that they closed my complaint submitted on XX/XX/22 because they believe that someone other than myself submitted complaint # XXXX, which is not true at all. I am asking for this case to be re-opened and investigated. I assume that because my mailing address is different than my current address that may have been the issue, but I am not sure. I will include a copy of my ID with the address that matches the letter I submitted regarding the company NCA that is reporting incorrect information to the credit bureaus. I would like for the CFPB to take this seriously and not continue to send stall letters. Per my last complaint, NCA is reporting that I have a collection with them, and I have never been in communication with this company. They were notified twice to validate this debt that is reporting on my credit report, but they have failed to do. The first notice was sent XX/XX/22 and the last letter was sent on XX/XX/XXXX. I will include the letter as well as the time stamp. Please conduct a proper investigation and remove this account. Lastly, this collection agency is reporting a different balance than what I have with the original creditor. Please provide proof of your right to own/collect this alleged debt and balance claimed including all fees, interest and penalties. Provide me of the amount of which the debt was purchased, per the CFPB, I have this right as a consumer. Also include a contract bearing my personal signature. My email is XXXX.
