In XX/XX/XXXX we rented a place to stay in XXXX AZ via XXXX for XX/XX/XXXX. At that time we paid the full amount of {$3300.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX notified us via email that the reservation was cancelled as the owner had sold the property. Per the rental cancellation agreement we were to receive XXXX % reimbursement because the cancellation was before XX/XX/XXXX. However, no reimbursement showed up on my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I filed a dispute with Capitol One. In several calls I spent hours on the phone with them. I also sent two letters of explanation and copies of relevant documents. I explained that the owner/host would not communicate with us, nor was XXXX. Now XXXX XXXX has told me via a letter of XX/XX/XXXX that since I did not file the dispute within 60 days, they will not give me a refund. It was 61 days after the cancellation but it took time for statements to reach me. Again, this is for a rental next XXXX! We will receive nothing for our money and this business model is most unfair to consumers. I would be happy to provide all the documents and or answer any questions. Lastly, I have no vision in my right eye and do not see all that well with my right. eye in some situations Thus, it can be challenging to follow light gray or small print. There is more to this case such as XXXX changed from XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX to manage their credit cards. There was some non-related fraud on the XXXX XXXX account which was successfully resolved but raised questions about this transaction.
