I have called Capital One Credit Card company and XXXX multiple times trying to resolve this. Capital One XXXX charged me {$100.00} in late fees and interest for a payment that they said was received 1 day late. On XX/XX/XXXX I used XXXX XXXX XXXX pay to enter a payment of {$3700.00} to be paid to Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX. This payment was for the entire balance on the card. The actual due date of the Capital One bill was XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX mailed a paper check to Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX, with a pay date of XX/XX/XXXX. Capital One says they didn't receive the check until XX/XX/XXXX, 8 days after it was mailed. They are unwilling to waive interest and penalty fees despite the fact the envelope was postmarked XXXX and the check was dated for payment XXXX.
