TransUnion continues to violate my consumer rights. TransUnion continues to report inaccurate bankruptcy information after they claimed to have verified it. On XX/XX/2022 I sent a letter requesting a RE-investigation and method of verification with the specific details of the investigation. I received a letter stating that they are not required to. It specifically states, " unless you have additional relevant information that supports the change you are requesting ( ie a letter from the creditor or courthouse etc ). They then list the court as the furnisher. This is why I believe TransUnion did not investigate my dispute and just discarded it. My original dispute including the letter from the court stating they did not furnish this inaccurate and unverified information to TransUnion or anyone else. XXXX XXXX XXXX, Chair of the House XXXX XXXX reported that the consumer reporting agencies are not fulfilling their obligations to the consumer or the CFPB in accordance to the FCRA as evidenced by insufficient investigations or accepting findings of furnishers without an independent investigation. My dispute is exactly XXXX of these examples. I am enclosing my letter I sent on XX/XX/2022, the false and misleading response from TransUnion, the letter from the court, a copy it showing on my consumer report, and my driver 's license as proper identification.
