A company called XXXX XXXX XXXX asked us to apply for a refinance loan on our current mortgage company UWM. They told us that they could help lower our payments to better afford our mortgage. We applied and within a month they had us paying them a lesser amount for the mortgage and said it would take a couple of months to be granted a new loan amount. We paid XXXX $ roughly a month for 8 months. I found out later that they had dissolved their business and had taken the payments. This started in XX/XX/2022 and ended in XXXX 2022 for the amount of XXXX XXXX They secretly without our knowledge and consent filed a Forebearance application under our name and SCAMMED us out of the money promising a cheaper mortgage payment. I can provide the necessary paperwork that XXXX XXXX XXXX had us file if need be.
