I had a checking account with capital one which was recently closed by the bank. I was depositing part of my divorce settlement fund to the account, then realized that capital one has very low interest rate, so I tried to move the money into my XXXX bank which has a much higher interest rate. The bank found this activity/ check suspicious, and even after numerous phone calls and verifications from the check owner on the source of the funds, the bank closed the account. When I spoke to the bank the last time, they said my funds would be mailed to my address and this has been almost a month and I still have not received my check. Whenever I call the phone number, either my phone number is blocked or my account is blocked so I can't reach any live person. From my XXXX statement I had a balance of XXXX.
