Equifax is refusing to process my dispute request. I have been blocked from filing an online dispute due to the account being closed by Equifax without my approval. The account was closed with inaccurate information and needs to be corrected. I also requested that my Consumer Statement be updated and have not received any update to my request. I contacted customer service by phone on XXXX, XX/XX/2022 to request an update and was told that my new Consumer Statement was updated and I needed to wait 72 hours and it would be available. I checked back on Sunday XX/XX/XXXX and my account has no updates. I also mailed my dispute to Equifax on XX/XX/XXXX making my request in writing to correct the inaccurate information on my XXXX XXXX Account and My Consumer Statement. Equifax has not made any changes to my account as of the date of this complaint.
