I tried to get a home loan XX/XX/2022. I was told by my mortgage lender that I had a defaulted loan with XXXX XXXX that was having a very big negative impact to my credit score causing me to get denied. After months of going back and forth with XXXX XXXX, I was able to get them to send me a copy of the application which clearly shows me that this is not my account as none of the data including my name, phone, email address or physical address is valid for me. I assume the SS and DOB arent either, but I wasnt provided this information. I have 2 possible theories.. 1- I am a victim of fraud. This doesnt seem likely as none of the data matches my true data. See highlighted data below. 2- Trans Union and XXXX are incorrectly matching this charged off account to my credit bureau report, in error. Please note : XXXX is not.
