An account was opened without my knowledge or consent sometime in XXXX or XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I never opened this and I was working outside of the United States as a XXXX. This fraud was revealed during a required security clearance check. XXXX XXXX refused to correct their mistake which is clearly a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting act. In act they, and their Collection agency has told me to " pay or die! '' This was an agent at XXXX who then proceeded to call my father and demand double what they are reporting! They " skip traced '' and began threatening my XXXX XXXX XXXX father saying he was liar and that he was me. XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX clearly violated the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. Their mistake will cause me to lose my security clearance any my job.
