Capital One closed my personal credit card account without my authorization after having it open for XXXX years. The company 's actions will likely negatively impact my already classist XXXX XXXX which I have worked hard to upkeep. I am in the process of purchasing my first home and these actions could have ramifications for me beyond just a lower credit. Why do these financial institutions want you to open an account and then close it for you? I called Capital One and they had XXXX concerns about me being upset and how their actions could affect me financially in other ways. Their answer was to open another account which would also negatively impact my XXXX XXXX because they would have to run my credit again. I am beyond upset with their decision to close my account.
