I closed this Aspire XXXX XXXX Credit carsd account several weeks ago due to fraudulent use by an unknown person, and was told by an employee that I could not re-activate it until the end of the billing cycle, today, XX/XX/2022, but today all I get is that there is a payment of {$270.00} due but no one in the XXXX or XXXX knows what the balance is for, and until the card is reactivated I can not sign into the account on-line, and I do not receive paper statements, so now, they are going to start charging me interest at XXXX XXXX or more, AND REFUSE TO TURN MY CARD BACK ON unless I make a Payment I may not actually owe, and I do not know whether it is better to make the payment for an unknown charge and then demand a refund for it, or file a complaint with you.. I not only made multiple calls to their number, which does not go to their offices in XXXX, XXXX but to the XXXX, and even one that was answered in XXXX, XXXX. I THINK THE ONLY WAY THIS OUTSOURCING IS EVER GOING TO CHANGE IS IF AMERICANS DEMAND CONTACT INFORMATION THAT IS NOT OUTSOURCED. I think all American citizens are getting tired of banking and credit card companies outsourcing customer service to offshore companies, and then being asked to provide personal information before they even attempt to provide assistance. And if you ask for a statement they have no way to send it to the United States, they claim, but my fax number works just fine from any country as long as there is a " 1 '' in front of my US number, and my email also works from any country. It just excuses for lack of service.
