On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a dispute to Equifax to remove a fraudulent item on my credit report for XXXX. After several attempts and various documents submitted and a call to the FL Attorney General 's office I was able to have this item removed. The issue is that Equifax has reported a blanket dispute remark on my open and valid accounts for XXXX ( XXXX and XXXX ). On these XXXX items it now states - Consumer Disputes Reinvestigation in Process. I was supposed to close on a mortgage today but now that these remarks are on my report I am not able to close and may lose out on the house. I have called Equifax and asked them and begged them to remove this wording immediately because they reported those disputes to those accounts erroneously. They refuse to remove the wording immediately and stated it will take XXXX business days even though I NEVER disputed those XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX I am beyond frustrated, I am living in a hotel because I was supposed to close last week, now was supposed to close today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and now I may not even close on this home at all!
