I purchased a lemon used car ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) from Chrysler Capital in XX/XX/XXXX. The loan was a high interest predatory loan. Also I informed them.of the misspelling to my name on the loan documents. The car caught fire in the first week I had it I ask for a full refund 2 days after buying the car but was refused. The car had to under go 10 ton 12 repairs within the first 2 months I had it. I also received several manufacturer recalls in the mail during this time. This car was dangerous from the start and indangeraded my entire family. The car eventually stopped running in XXXX XXXX, CA and I reported that to Chrysler Capital. I have communicated by phone, emails and certified mail to resolve this issue. The auto loan was sold from Chrysler Capital to Santanders in XXXX without my knowledge or consent. As mentioned above Santanders was involved in a class action settlement/lawsuit due to their involment of predatory lending. I was informed that I was to receive mometary damages and the title to the car within 6 months. It never came. To date I have paid {$17000.00} for a car that never worked. I have been attempting to get the title of my car released but Santanders will not release my title. I DO NOT have a contract with Santanders and any information from Chrysler Capital was given to this entity without my consent. I am still receiving DMV notificatioms for registration fees.
