In XX/XX/2022 I received a notification from my credit monitoring service ( XXXX ) that a new loan had been opened in my name from a company called Uplift. Upon doing research, I found that this loan was for a vacation rental or trip through XXXX XXXX. I was able to cancel the trip and was also able to successfully dispute charges that hit my my bank account for this loan. I notified uplift in XX/XX/2022 that the account was not mine, that despite having an XXXX XXXX fraud alert on my credit they never contact me, and I also provided a copy of a police report that I filed for identity theft. Uplift has still hit my credit for a charge-off for this loan as of XX/XX/2022 despite submitting the police report and making them aware via email that this account was not opened by me.
