XXXX XXXX was contracted by a former business I was a partner in. The business was sold on XXXX to my other business partner. XXXX sent an invoice in the form of XXXX to me following a disagreement that she had with the owner of the business stating I was responsible. I responded and told XXXX, the owner of XXXX, that I did not own the business. I gave her all of the contact information of the new owner and the attorney who handled everything on the sale and was handling any debt that the old partner did not pay. The old partner ended up not paying anything and when I logged into my credit, I saw that ally had sent ME to collections. I contacted XXXX XXXX at thunderbird and explained. I also asked him to send any signed agreements for my attorney to review but he has not provided anything to confirm the debt. This not only is not my debt, I have evidence that the person who reported this knew that this was not my debt and still sent this in. The dates of service is XX/XX/19 which legally, I had zero association with the business in any capacity on that date. This is unethical on both XXXX XXXX and XXXX at XXXX. This has affected my credit and made a huge difference on interest rates for an investment condo I planned on purchasing. Please help asap.
