Hi, I have tried countless times to dispute the issue with XXXX, XXXX and XXXX pertaining to the incorrect stated amounts owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX. Each time my claim has been returned as confirmed, which is incorrect in a few ways. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it is to my understanding that a company collecting debt or so-called debt are required to be licensed in the state of the alleged person that owes the debt. Is that correct? If so, according to XXXX XXXX XXXX LVNV Funding LLC is not licensed in the state of New York. On that data point alone any and all claims and/or attempt to collect debt from anyone in New York should be taken as a violation of the consumer finance law and an attempt to commit an unlawful act.
