On XX/XX/XXXX, I opened a new savings account in an attempt to receive XXXX for every XXXX deposited as an early sign up bonus. The check I deposited was from the liquidation of my trust and addressed to my maiden name. The check was unable to be deposited even though I have been with Capital One prior to being married. Capital One was able to verify my identify/ maiden from account history and still were unable to deposit the check due to policy. Further, they offered no other way to gain access to funds, such as sending in marriage certificate. XXXX case number.
