I have an account on my credit report that does not belong to me. My information was obtained under false pretenses.That is fraud. There is also a name and address that needs to be removed and there are unauthorized inquiries as well. I reached out to the company and I've been waiting for a response. Also there was an alert on my credit report that said on XX/XX/XXXX I opened up an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX, I opened no such account, this is fraud. I contacted the bank and they said someone in Michigan opened up a business account with my social. I made a complaint online and will be going to the bank tomorrow to make a formal complaint. These fraudulent accounts and inquiries have affected my credit report in a negative way and my credit score has been affected in a negative way as well. These accounts do not belong to me and the information they have provided has not been properly verified. This is fraud as well. If they respond saying that these accounts were verified. I would like to know how they verified these accounts. How my information was obtained. I would also like to know the name of the person who verified the information along with the the company who furnished the information to the credit bureau and legal action will be taken at that point. This is my second complaint and attempt to rectify the situation and nothing has been done. I made a complaint and that complaint was sent to the creditor and they took my address off of the complaint and updated it in their file. They were allowed to steal my address and update their information because they never had it. I have no lien against me nor have I been to court or had a judgement placed against me for any reason, so this harassment and this falsely verified account is illegal.
