I Purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX for personal and work related use. On XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX while avoiding being XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX next to the far XXXX XXXX. I was XXXX and my right XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( license to tow issued XX/XX/XXXX after they towed my vehicle ) appeared immediately started hooking my vehicle up for towing without my permission. Then attempting to drive off with my vehicle. I exchanged insurance information and numbers with the XXXX XXXX, then jumped into tow truck because I did not know where the vehicle was being taken. Another person was writing down the information. I do not know where he came from because he did not ride to XXXX XXXX with us and did not come to the building. When we got to XXXXXXXX XXXX there were no other people in the facility. The tow driver immediately asked me to sign releases to have XXXX. repair/evaluate the damage to my vehicle. I refused and called XXXX who gave me a XXXX XXXX to pick up the vehicle from the towing company. I called my Auto Insurance company, gave them XXXX XXXX 's information. And my information with conditions of both vehicle. I was met with extreme hostility and aggression. Then told I could not have the vehicle until the towing fees of {$500.00} were paid for a car which was towed an hour ago. I was still XXXX and began feeling unsafe. Waited outside for XXXX. After XXXX minutes, XXXX did not come. I made a decision to leave the area. I reported the experience to the XXXX ( XXXX ). Because they were not called to the scene of the addicted, they recommended that I call XXXX XXXX and report the incident. I did! When I got to a safe place, I called Santander and received instructions how to start the accident reporting process. I faxed everything over to Santander that same day. When I called XXXXXXXX XXXX, no one answered. I left a message that I was coming to have XXXX tow the vehicle to the dealership where it was purchased and serviced. I reemphasized that I did not want them to touch the vehicle or do any work of any kind. I received one call back from a woman who would not identify herself. She rudely stated that I would have to pay the fees before they would release the vehicle. She never used the word " Impounded ''. I returned with friends to retrieve the vehicle, but the doors and gates were locked. No one answered. I repeatedly attempted to get the vehicle back for several weeks. XX/XX/XXXX I requested help via two letters faxed to the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Santander because they held the lien. Santander never replied/responded by letter, email or phone. Due to not having a vehicle as required to perform the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I held, I lost the job. Without the vehicle the insurance company could not give me a rental vehicle. They also could not pay for the damages because there was no official information from XXXX. because I refused to release the vehicle into their care for serving. I returned to XXXX to have my XXXX on my XXXX XXXX. I completed a USPS Change of Address forwarding all mail to my XXXX son 's XXXX where I would be living. I used my online dashboard/portal to update my address with Santander. I completely cooperated and communicated with Santander via the dashboard. The dashboard/portal also had my email and phone number which I still have both, if Santander wanted to contact me. After a whole year, the dashboard/portal access was stopped. I never heard from Santander at all, until I started the process for purchasing a home and found them on my credit reports for the mortgage company 's use. Santander was not on my credit reports in XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. ( I have photos of reviews written by customers who had the same experience as me with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
