I was trying to refinance my home with a new lender, and during this process we found out that we needed to have the Covid relief HUD partial payment paid off before we can refinance. Unfortunately, our current lender Midland Mortgage never claimed the partial payment from HUD and due to this negligence I am now not able to refinance my home before the new lender rate expires. I have contacted HUD, who stated that Midland never claim the partial payment and they have no record of such lien. I have tried resolving this issue for several weeks now and just keep getting the round around from Midland Mortgage. I have spoken to several reps and supervisors ( rep XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, Loss Mitigation supervisor XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and all I get is lies. They claim that they submitted the claim in XXXX but HUD has no record. They claim that they don't know what happened and that the claim is " in limbo ''. REALLY!! Then they claim that they were having problems processing the claim with HUD.???. Today XX/XX/2022 after several weeks OF LIES now they claim that upper management is working on it. I am unable to refinance my home and have lost the rate with the new lender due to the incompetence and negligence of Midland Mortgage.
