Over the last 1.5 years I have sent multiple certified letters to XXXX, XXXX, and Transunion requesting that they validate the inaccurate derogatory accounts on my account. However, every time the credit bureaus responded the accounts were validated, but the information listed on my credit report is inaccurate. This has caused me a great deal of stress and money. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), If, after any reinvestigation under paragraph ( 1 ) of any information disputed by a consumer, an item of the information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or can not be verified, the consumer reporting agency shall promptly delete that item of information from the file of the consumer, or modify that item of information, as appropriate, based on the results of the reinvestigation.
