This is not a duplicate nor is this complaint filed by a third party. I am filing this complaint myself. Please see this complaint is processed to the letter of the law. I wrote to your company indicating my dispute of information in my credit report. Transunion has not responded to my dispute and therefore must update my credit file. The late date which is actually submitted on my credit report sounds very inaccurate or deceptive. Under Section 614, restrictions on investigative consumer reports [ 15 U.S.C. 1681l ], you only restrict to investigate my personal file if no adverse information in my report ( other than information which is a matter of public record ) may be included in a subsequent consumer report unless such adverse information has been verified in the process of making such subsequent consumer report, or the adverse information was received within the three-month period preceding the date the subsequent report is furnished.
