For over a year now I have attempted to get XXXX XXXX to update my insurance in their system so that insurance can pay this bill. I have spent countless hours on the phone with XXXX making sure health insurance information is correct with XXXX, and each time I am assured that it has been corrected. Despite all of my time consuming efforts, XXXX has not updated the insurance information, so they are saying that I owe {$1000.00} for lab work. My insurance, XXXX XXXX ALWAYS pays for my lab work. It is covered under my plan. The reason it is being rejected is because XXXX is giving them incorrect insurance information. Now, I have received a bill from a debt collector and my original bill is not available on my XXXX patient portal. I can not contact XXXXt oXXXX XXXX because I don't have the original bill. I receive my bills via email and the links to the bill are no longer active. I have no way to correct this. Worse yet, I can not get my XXXX XXXX at any XXXX lab because they incorrectly say that I owe this amount. I have XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and need to have regular XXXX done. This is not only an issue of unfair billing, but also it is putting my health in jeopardy.
