I defaulted on my Auto Loan with Veros Credit. they repossessed my Vehicle on XXXX I called to gt location and amount needed to get vehicle back. I was told that the vehicle was in route to the auction so there was no location on file for me to retrieve my personal property or to pick up vehicle. The agent said they were unable to tell me how much is owed to get vehicle back. I had 2 agents hang up on me, finally spoke to a manager and I was told i need to pay the entire amount of loan which was close to XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a phone call from a rep at Veros Credit who said I only need to pay {$3000.00} to take ownership of the vehicle and that would allow me to keep my current loan and reduce my payments to {$350.00}. XXXX I made the payment for {$3000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX the following day I got a call from the Same woman at Veros Credit XXXX She informed me that my Vehicle was SOLD the day before at Auction. The funds were returned to me. I only got 1 notice in writing regarding the sale and repossession of my Vehicle and that document DID NOT include the address for me to pick up my personal property either. If I had this option in a timely manner I would have been able to secure my personal property out of my vehicle and get my vehicle back. This information was never disclosed to me. The entire process was extremely deceptive. I was mislead, lied to and taken advantage of.
