DATE : XX/XX/2021 BANK OF CHECK XXXX XXXX CHECK NUMBER : XXXX AMOUNT : {$32000.00} CASHED ATM BANK : WELL FARGO We mailed check to our vendor and it got stolen. the theft cashed the check from WELL FARGO ATM. We report the issue to our bank ( XXXX ), and they were working with WELL FARGO for the issue. However, WELL FARGO closed our case twice. first time, they require additional document, and we gave them all. Subsequently, the require a police report again. We already report the mail theft to the USPS, and they have their own investigation team to work on it. I have the complaint or the claim number. But WELL FARGO insist to have the report!! It is incomprehensible why WELL FARGO keep giving us hard time. the person who cashed the check from the ATM have the account information when they use the machine to cashed the check. ALL information is traceable. NAME and the ACCOUNT NUMBER. why it is so difficult to scrutify the person account. ALSO, on the check, pay to and the theft name are not match. Correct one is the company name, stolen one is the person name. How can they still allow the person to cahsed out the amount? The investigation goes more than 1 years and they still asking for more documents?
