XXXX of 2022 Homepoint did not pay my property taxes on one lot, when I brought it to their attention they said they would pay it. Then processed to change payment of my mortgage and raise my property taxes numbers to inaccurate amounts. They said they sent a check to county tax and county never received it. They deducted to from my escrow account and never paid county nor reimbursed me. Late fees were piling up. I ended up paying it out of pocket to avoid foreclosure and more fees XX/XX/2022. XXXX Ive contacted them on 6 different occasions about all of the mistakes theyve made. Have had no resolution. They tell me something different every time I call. Currently they are taking way too much for escrow. Ive calculated their error to about XXXX. A year. When my property taxes and insurance come to a total of XXXX. A year. All have been verified current with county. I cant afford to keep taking these hits. Im a widow on social security and I feel like they are taking advantage of me.
