On XX/XX/2022 I received a call about a suspicious attempt to open a Capitol One credit card account in my name. I declined that it wasn't me and they were going to deny it and report it as fraudulent for investigation. I then reported it to the credit bureau, freezing and putting an alert on my credit. Upon reviewing my credit report, I found an address that didn't identify with anyplace I live or had lived ( in AR ). Called credit bureau to make them aware of this. I will follow this up with a police report.
