My payment for capital one was due XX/XX/2022 for my XXXX statement. My payment posted XX/XX/2022. I realized I paid my balance ( {$1500.00} ) instead of my statement amount ( {$330.00} ). Capital one would not refund the amount to remake a payment and I was told I could only do a stop payment with my XXXX bank. Then redo the payment. I issued a stop payment to XXXX XXXX XXXX 2022 same day. The stop payment went through XX/XX/2022. I called capital one to make a payment on my XXXX statement of ( {$330.00} ) XX/XX/2022. My statement for Capital one at the time did not reflect the change in balance. I was told there system could not accept a payment because my balance still showed {$0.00} owed. They told me ( multiple supervisors ) that I would need to wait till Monday XX/XX/2022 for it to reflect the proper balance for me to make a payment on my XX/XX/2022 statement. I was told my interest would be subdued for those 5 days of being late for XX/XX/2022 statement. They also would take off the late payment XXXX called back XX/XX/2022 to make a payment on my XX/XX/2022 statement due XX/XX/2022. The balance for Capital One still reflected {$0.00} payment due and they could not take payment. I called the next day XX/XX/2022 and still my balance reflected {$0.00} payment due and they could not accept payment on my XX/XX/2022 statement due XX/XX/2022. XX/XX/2022 Capital One created a new statement for XX/XX/2022 rolling in my XXXX statement balance plus additional balance, charged me interest for past due, blocked my credit card until minimum payment made. There system was rigged to keep me from making a payment and worked against me as a customer to fulfill my debt and put me at credit risk.
