This debt was accrued do to an illegal business practice by the original creditor, XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Florida. They used to be called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I moved-out early due to the COVID-19 Pandemic in XXXX of XXXX. I received a Final Move-Out document ( Attached. ) acknowledging my move-out, yet a year later, in XX/XX/XXXX, I received a LARGE bill of {$9100.00} ( Attached ) reflecting that XXXX XXXX was charging me rent for an ENTIRE YEAR after I moved out. Furthermore, XXXX XXXX had mitigated my loss by getting another tenant to occupy and sign the lease for unit XXXX within a month of my move-out date, by the name of XXXX or XXXX. I confirmed this with my fellow roommates who lived in the same floorpan as I did. This is an illegal business practice, and the Debt Collector should close this account.
