I am experiencing a huge problem with two lenders that are reporting information on my consumers report that is in violation of my rights and caused an substantial amount of damages. DEPT OF ED/XXXX # XXXX & DEPT OF EDUCATIONXXXX # XXXX. I have contacted these companies via telephone and mail concerning this matter, still no response. 15 U.S Code 6802 states ; a financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to nonaffiliated third party companies. Also, 15 U.S Code 1681 states ; there is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality and a respect for the consumer 's right to privacy.
