I have excellent credit. I have few Credit cards. One was XXXX XXXX XXXX through Comenity Bank of Ohio. I used the card for member benefit only and would pay it in it's entirety after each use. Back in XXXX ( I believe ) I ordered some things and made a phone payment that was a day or two late. I did automation and it did not tell me the payment was late. Months later I started getting phone calls and a few emails from Comenity Bank. I honestly thought this was a scam as I was getting a lot during the pandemic. I finally answer to get them to stop and I find out that I was being charged late fees and interest from that late phone payment. I got them to waive one month 's fees due to my good credit standing but they couldn't let it go completely. Since it was my fault for paying late from the beginning I decided to pay what was left and close the account due to Comenity Credit practices and I told Victoria 's Secret about this as well. On XX/XX/2022 I paid Comenity Bank, by phone, XXXX of interest and late fees without a purchase balance and closed the account. Well it has started all over again. The emails, the phone harassment, and I have no idea what the heck they are saying. The account is closed and they are talking interest and late fee 's AGAIN from what I can understand due to their language barrier. Please shut this bank down. Their thieves.
