After viewing a copy of my credit report, I noticed a collection account placed on my credit report from Debt Recovery Solutions , LLC in XXXX of 2022 in the amount of {$1500.00}. First and foremost, Debt Recovery Solutions violated FDCPA rules and regulations when they failed to send me a written debt validation notice including the amount of the debt, name of the creditor, and notice of the consumer 's right to dispute the debt within 30 days ( see 15 U.S.C. 1692g ( a ) ). Secondly, what obligation do I have at all to Debt Recovery Solutions? I have never heard of them, have no written contract with them, and have never received any benefits from them, yet Debt Recovery Solutions has submitted negative information to all three credit reporting agencies against my name and social security number and is demanding payment from me in the amount of {$1500.00}. Without my signature on the original creditor contract that shows I ever agreed to pay an assigned debt collector, Debt Recovery Solutions is breaking the law by negatively reporting this information to the Credit Bureaus.
