We are an authorized 3rd Party ; We are the Escrow/Title Company that handled the sale, and are responsible for making sure the Release of Lien is filed and done so correctly. We issued a payoff to PennyMac on XX/XX/XXXX, to pay off the existing mortgage with them. The home was sold. On XX/XX/XXXX, I began communicating with PennyMac regarding the Release of Lien. The Release was recorded on XX/XX/XXXX, but it was filed under the wrong Document Number. The correct Document Number is XXXX. PennyMac filed the Release under XXXX. I sent PennyMac the fully executed 3rd Party Authorization on XX/XX/XXXX. I have continued to follow up with PennyMac on the following dates-XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX. The continue to tell me they don't have 3rd Party Authorization. The Release of Lien needs to be corrected and filed under the correct Document Number. The lien is still showing up on title as being open, and is causing a cloud on title.
