On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, I ordered 3 doors for the amount of {$22000.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX. No doors have been delivered or installed. I've had multiple concerns. My most recent concern involves XXXX XXXX XXXX ' claim that I consented to enter contracts via electronic signatures. On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX sent a consent letter which she claims I had signed on XX/XX/XXXX. But the document is dated XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and it does not have my signature. ( Please see attached document 1 ). XXXX XXXX 's email concludes with a threat that if I cancel the purchase order, I will be liable for {$4000.00} to Greensky from whom a loan has been authorized on my behalf. I advised GreenSky that according to Virginia law 59.1-483b, an agreement to conduct a transaction electronically may not be inferred solely from the fact that a party has used electronic means to register a purchase order and that according to the law, this subsection " may not be varied by agreement ''. Meaning affirmative consent to conduct business electronically may not be omitted. GreenSky responded on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, asking " what is it that you are wanting from GreenSky, '' and eventually that I " follow up directly with the merchant regarding this matter. XXXX requires GreenSky to " review and analyze complaints ... for the purpose of identifying trends ... and XXXX potentially involved in unauthorized loans and related unauthorized transactions.
