On XX/XX/XXXX I was offered a settlement amount of {$600.00} for this account. I made a payment on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$120.00} towards the {$600.00} them I made another payment on {$110.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. The amount was not changing on my account as paying so I called Santander to ask them to correct the amount they said they would not change amount then reported my account as in collections/ charge off with a balance of {$1000.00} and account closed. I contacted XXXX to dispute the amount and submitted the settlement letter and receipts to the payments. I explained that if they could report the correct balance according to FCR act I would gladly pay remaining settlement balance. XXXX investigated and declared that account was accurate. They did not send supporting documents XXXX gives Santander 30 extra days when I call in and make complaint. I have disputed this inaccurate information for o year now each time the company receives 30 extra days to not investigate properly. The company also charged the account off in XX/XX/XXXX when I made payment on settlement they reported as charged off.
