I contacted Equifax regarding incorrect information on my account back in XXXX and most recently ( XXXX XXXX. On multiple occasions, I was asked by the credit bureau to validate my identity using a secured link to send a copy of my driver 's license and social security card. The link provided never works and when I asked for alternate verification methods, I was asked to verify my identity using incorrect information on my consumer report. When I stated to the agents on numerous occasions that the information is incorrect, I have been hung up on or told " we can not help you ''. I was instructed yesterday to fax my documents and they would process it within XXXX hours. Upon sending the documents via fax, I contacted the company ( Equifax ) who told me they would not process the documents until XXXX days and they wouldn't update my information until 30 days later. In addition to being part of the XXXX XXXX XXXX, I was not able to update my information last year due to the same issues experienced yesterday. I asked for a supervisor and my request was denied and then told " we are unable to help you. We also will not file a complaint on your behalf ''. This company is malicious and does not help their customers.
