On XX/XX/XXXX my daughter moved out of her apartment at XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX the company billed and withdrew the monthly rent amount from my bank account of {$470.00} for the month of XXXX even though it should have been prorated because the lease ended XX/XX/XXXX. The invoice attached states the billing period was for XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. My daughter did move out on XX/XX/XXXX however it was after XXXX XXXX so the charged her {$150.00} holdover fee. I paid a full month rent and they have sent my account to collections. If I paid rent for the entire month of XXXX how am I being charged a holdover fee. The rent should have been prorated or the holdover fee should not apply. Myself and my daughter has tried to contact the office but it will only allow you to leave a message and they will not return our calls to discuss the matter. Today we received another notice dated XX/XX/XXXX request payment. I spoke with the collection agency and informed them that I disagreed with the amount owed. He stated that they did not deal in itemized billing and I would need to contact XXXX who I have attempted to contact 8 times since XX/XX/XXXX and have been unsuccessful. In addition they charged {$120.00} to paint a wall that had no damage they was only normal wear and tear.
