On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX put {$42000.00} for the purchase of a new home with XXXX XXXX XXXX California XXXX XXXX XXXX I informed the sales agent that I do not have the down payment and they suggested I go through Open door. That same day, without confirmation of funds to be received for my current home from XXXX XXXX, they began the application process to approve my loan. I submitted my current paystubs and an offer from the XXXX as a temporary second job. Soon thereafter, the offer from XXXX XXXX was {$100000.00} less than the down payment expected. XXXX XXXX of XXXX Mortgage continued to try to make the deal work with a second. I informed them I have no further money to put down on the loan. On XX/XX/2022, I got news from my second job offer that I would not be eligible to work. I submitted this proof to XXXX Mortgage and XXXX XXXX XXXX California XXXX XXXX. Rather than provide me with a denial of my qualification of the loan so I can obtain my deposit back, I was getting calls from both companies essentially forcing me to get my second job even though I do not have the requisite paperwork to qualify. I know that they are illegally withholding my deposit as I have now showed them ample proof that my income would no longer qualify for this loan. I am a single mom and this deposit is my entire life savings. I have been having XXXX palpitations due to their antics in not providing me my funds, rather continuously questioning me on my qualifications on the second job. At this point, I will not be able to work a second job or even my current job because I am so stressed out. Both XXXX XXXX and XXXX Mortgage, through their respective representatives have been calling me about my second job and stating they do not want to return the funds because they believe I can obtain this second job, despite being shown an email from the HR specialists that my application is not moving forward.
