Was notified that a credit application was put in to Discover financial services for a credit card. I called when I found this out and had the account canceled and closed this happened on XX/XX/XXXX and I found out about it on XX/XX/XXXX as well. I called to cancel everything XX/XX/XXXX, then I received the credit card and mail XX/XX/XXXX. The credit limit on the card says {$7500.00} just wanting to file a report so I can have it in my records. I have my credit file locked and did put out a fraud alert on my account. The person that put in the application used a fake email.
