On XX/XX/XXXX I mailed certified letters to all three credit reporting agencies explaining I was a victim of identity theft. The package included a copy of my Identity Theft Report and proof of my identity, a copy of section 605B of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which requires them to block the fraudulent information on my credit report resulting from identity theft within four business days and to promptly notify the furnisher ( s ) of that information, Identity Theft Affidavit # XXXX, Drivers license, Credit report with disputed information indicated, Notice To Furnishers Of Information and Police Report. The information reported by XXXX Bank in XXXX including late payments and any balances, which appears on my credit report, does not relate to any transaction ( s ) that I have made. It is the result of identity theft. The accounts were closed with a zero balance and were never late. The account numbers being reported were issued after I had already closed the accounts on XX/XX/XXXX with a perfect credit history for all three and a zero balance for all three. My credit score went from a XXXX to a XXXX. All three reporting agencies have responding saying they asked XXXX Bank the Furnishers Of Information and XXXX Bank has told them the information is correct. I must request this false information be re-investigated and that they block this information from my credit report, pursuant to section 605B of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and send the required notifications to all furnishers of this information.
